With the Iranian oil situation deadlocked and each side threatening the other, a solution to the problem seems very remote.
Why has no proposal been made to have the displaced British oil company operate the plant on a management contract basis?
The main concern of the Western World is access to Iran’s oil and the exclusion of Russia from its control.
A management contract of benefit to both parties can be negotiated, so that both can save face. Iran will get added revenue and the Western World, including Britain, will get the oil.
