Our Magic Formula
To the Editor:
In several recent editorials you have commented on the Iranian oil situation, consistently suggesting that profits derived from Iranian produced oil be split 50-50 between Iran and the British Government controlled Anglo-Iranian Oil Company.
Whose case are you pleading, and how did you develop that magic mathematical formula for splitting profits in which you have no vested interest?
Are you overlooking the fact that Iran has nationalized its oil wealth, and that exploitation of the resources of small weak nations is no longer England’s privilege?
